Breakfast at Rusty Pelican in Tampa (11 – 12:45pm)
It goes without saying that Tampa has a solid brunch offering, some tried and tested hotspots including local favorites Datz, Noble Crust and Oystercatchers. And you’ll head straight to the waterfront and Rusty Pelican for today’s morning fare. Choose from a selection of Lobster Benedict, Hangover Hash, Chicken & Waffles and did someone say bottomless mimosas? Think fresh watermelon and lime, or go for apple cider pumpkin spice with vistas of Old Tampa Bay.
Cigar City Brewing Pit-Stop (1:00 – 2pm)
Make your way towards downtown Tampa and the legendary Cigar City Brewing for a pit-stop and to stock up for your boat trip. It is arguably THE most famous brewery in all of Florida, which has been putting out award-winning handcrafted beer since 2009, and their most popular brew is the famous Jai Alai IPA.
BYOB River Party Cruise (2:30 – 6:30pm)
Next, you’ll embark on a 4-hour river party cruise lapping up the Tampa sun and drinks with it, stopping at bars along the way and for an occasional swim. Don’t forget to bring along your trunks and a towel for this! The boat fits up to 12 people, comes with your own captain, empty cooler and floaties, and starts from $700 for 4 hours.
OR
For a more budget-friendly option, you could also opt for an eBoat, which is a great way to explore Tampa from the water, priced only at $178 for 2 hours. A boat holds up to 10 people comfortably and runs on a quiet electric motor, making them super easy to use (yes, even for first timers). eBoats provides life jackets of all sizes and there’s a Bluetooth speaker, so you can play all your favorite jamz.
Keep a lookout for dolphins as you cruise along Tampa’s waterways, too!
*Optional* Florida Cane Distillery (7 – 8:15 pm)
Then, head onto 7th Avenue with an optional stop at King Corona Cigars Bar And Café (unfortunate name, yes) to smoke some cigars before wandering over to Florida Cane Distillery. Familiarize yourself with their offering of rum, gin, whiskey, moonshine and Florida cane vodka until dinner!
Alternatively, depending on your mood, you could skip the Florida Cane Distillery and head back to your hotel to freshen up and change. You’ll be heading back to Tampa’s bustling SoHo for the night.
Drinks and dinner at American Social (8:30 – 10pm)
American Social is a great place to start your night right on the waterfront. This popular hangout boasts over 15,000 sq ft with four full-service bars, a raw bar, and an outdoor/indoor dining room. Grab some comfort food and admire the views as more and more people start to pour in.
Party at MacDintons (10pm – end)
Now, a bit depending on your group’s median age, you might want to stay put at AmSo. But, if you are anywhere between 21-30 year’s old, you should definitely hit up the lively MacDintons – shenanigans and good rowdy fun guaranteed (It is an Irish pub after all.)
(If you decide to skip MacDintons, you have tons of other fun places to choose from, as SoHo usually gets slammed on the weekends.)
OR,
Rooftop mingle at Edge (10pm – midnight)
If you are 30+ perhaps craft cocktails are more your vibe? Then head over to the Epicurean’s rooftop cocktail bar, Edge to cap off the night on a more sophisticated note.
*Optional* Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino (midnight – end)
If you still have more to give after this full day, then we suggest you head over to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino where you can try your luck at over 3,000 slots, or put on your best poker face for some No-Limit Texas hold’em.
