Breakfast at your favorite CWB brekkie place (8:30 – 10am)
Return to your breakfast place of choice today, as it is your last day. Then get in the car and head to Tampa Bay Sporting Clays, a bit over an hour’s drive from CWB.
Skeet shooting at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays (11 – 1:30pm)
Nothing beats shooting small flying clay objects to smithereens in a scenic wood setting. A bit like golf with a shotgun! Spend a few hours over taking aim at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays, it’s a real blast (pun intended).
Lunch and sightseeing in Tarpon Springs (2:30 – 5:30pm)
On your way back, stop off in Tarpon Springs for lunch. Savor scrumptious traditional fare over at the beloved, loud and kitschy Hellas restaurant (lauded by some as the best Greek food outside of Greece).
Alternatively, stop at Rusty Bellies waterfront grill for some mouthwatering steamed seafood (they also have an awesome seafood market, fyi.)
After lunch, amble around Tarpon Springs to take in the Greek atmosphere before making your way back to CWB. If you haven’t taken any snaps yet, you could even jump on the trolley for some last minute pics to have something to show the missus when you get home.
Dinner at Palm Pavilion / or Sandpearl Resort (7 – 9:30pm)
You want to get a last good look at those awesome sunset vistas tonight, so we are going to go ahead and recommend the upscale Caretta on the Gulf at Sandpearl, or the more casual Palm Pavilion (whatever your vibe is). Expect sizzling meats, freshly caught seafood and super fresh salads topped off with a lot of ‘Ooh’-ing and ‘Aah’-ing over sunset.
Raise your drinks as your Clearwater Beach trip is drawing to a close, compare your tans and breathe in a last whiff of salty Gulf-air.
